Independent Director
Rob Bonner is a highly accomplished professional with extensive industry knowledge of the health and aged care sectors.
He has worked in many roles across the VET and Higher Education sectors in areas of policy influence, regulation and training product development.
He has contributed through roles on the Australian Industry & Skills Committee, providing advice to state and federal governments on training packages and serving as a member of the SA Training & Skills Commission.
In addition, Rob has established and led high-performing Registered Training Organisations delivering courses in areas of health and human services.
Rob's dedication to the advancement of healthcare and community services is evident through his involvement in the University of SA’s Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre and the Rosemary Bryant AO Foundation which funds research in nursing and midwifery.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to thought leadership and driving meaningful change in areas such as the health workforce, evidence-based practice and career pathways.
In addition to his role in HumanAbility Rob is a Director of the HESTA Superannuation Fund and a member of the National Careers Institute Advisory Board.
Rob is an independent Director and serves as the Chair of HumanAbility Board.
