Supporting the fastest growing sectors in the Australian economy

HumanAbility's mission is to lead and contribute to skilled, sustainable workforces which respond to the needs of Australia’s care and support sectors. We do this by taking a strategic approach and collaborating with governments, employers, unions, consumers and training bodies to understand critical workforce issues and prioritise areas to address.

Our Workforce Plan 2025 draws on the significant data we have gathered through our forums, roadshows and consultations. It highlights significant challenges, identifies key actions and celebrates the progress underway. It also informs our work as a Jobs and Skills Council, the priorities of governments and the needs of our sectors, and reflects actions required following recent royal commissions, enquiries and government  policy.
