Gaylene is a comprehensively experienced and well-respected non-Executive Company Director and Chief Executive, who has dedicated her career to achieving better health and well-being outcomes for vulnerable populations in the community. She is currently CEO of Eastern Palliative Care Assoc Inc, and has worked across the primary health, community health and aged care sectors.
Gaylene has held various directorships, board committee memberships and Company Secretary roles since 2005 and brings that wealth of experience from the health and not-for-profit sector. Gaylene has been a non-executive director in several health organisations and also membership-based organisations. In recent years Gaylene's directorships include MND Queensland (Chair and Treasurer), Australian Healthcare and Hospital Association (NED), Women’s Health Matters Inc (NED & Governance Committee Chair), and Hepatitis ACT (NED & Treasurer).
Gaylene has demonstrated consistent achievements in organisational transformation and change management. She adds value to a Board by bringing her varied and broad expertise in:
