A new report commissioned by HumanAbility places Australia’s healthcare workforce within a global context outlining trends such as ageing populations, tech advancements and significant labour shortages.
We were delighted to meet with stakeholders on Ngunnawal Country for HumanAbility’s Canberra Forum in October. Discussions centred on the workforce and training challenges experienced by our five sectors.
Attracting and retaining workers were identified as urgent priorities for the care and support sectors in Cairns/Gimuy at the second leg of HumanAbility’s Queensland Roadshow.
The challenges posed by Western Australia’s vast distances and a shortage of traineeships emerged as key issues during HumanAbility’s Western Australia Roadshow in August.
HumanAbility’s National Forum 2024 brought together 150 leaders from across the care, support, and recreation sectors on Ngunnawal land at Old Parliament House.
Attendees at HumanAbility’s Queensland Roadshow were eager to discuss one shared goal: building a stronger workforce in the care and support sectors.
HumanAbility collaborates with industry to conduct research, identify job market demands, assess skill requirements, create adaptive qualifications and training packages, and spearhead workforce development initiatives.
