Rob Bonner is a highly accomplished professional serving as the Director of Operations & Strategy for the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (SA Branch). In this role, he leads various critical programs, including industrial, education, and membership initiatives within the South Australia Branch.

Rob's expertise and leadership were instrumental in spearheading a national research team that successfully established an Evidence-Based Methodology for Staffing and Skills Mix in Resident Aged Care.

His contributions extend beyond his current position, as he holds membership in esteemed committees such as the Australian Industry & Skills Committee, providing invaluable advice to state and Australian governments on training packages and serving on the SA Training & Skills Commission.

Additionally, Rob's dedication to the advancement of healthcare and community services is evident through his involvement in prominent institutions like the Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre and the Rosemary Bryant AO Foundation.

Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to thought leadership and driving meaningful change in areas such as health workforce, evidence-based practice, career structures, workload management, and information systems.

Rob is the independent Chair of HumanAbility Board, a member of the Governance and Nominations committee and is the Chair of the joint Industry Advisory Council. 

 
 

HumanAbility collaborates with industry to conduct research, identify job market demands, assess skill requirements, create adaptive qualifications and training packages, and spearhead workforce development initiatives.
