HumanAbility’s flagship National Forum is an invitation only event that brings together senior leaders, CEOs and decision makers from across Australia’s aged care and disability services, children’s education and care, health, human services and sport and recreation sectors. 

The forum provides a platform to explore how we can turn our shared ambition into practical reforms. 

With national attention on productivity, this year’s program builds on HumanAbility’s Workforce Plan insights to tackle the most pressing challenges and opportunities shaping our workforce and policy environment.

The planned schedule includes:

  • A focus on Closing the Gap through workforce and skills development
  • A major plenary panel on the value of lived and living experience across our sectors
  • Breakout sessions on prevention, professionalising the workforce, and valuing cultural knowledge
  • Collaborative panels addressing workforce shortages, training delivery in thin markets, and the future of 'Earn While You Learn' models
  • Plenary sessions on jobs of the future, and workforce planning for an uncertain future

The formal part of the day will be followed by networking canapés and there will be opportunities for collaboration throughout the day, and beyond.

Parking

  • Self-parking: Available at Wilson Parking, 15 William Street, $50 per 24 hours.
  • Valet parking: Available at the hotel entrance for $80 per vehicle per day (two-metre height limit applies).

Public transport

  • Collins Street is serviced by multiple tram routes and Southern Cross Station is within walking distance.
