Sara Charlesworth

Professor Emerita, RMIT University

Sara Charlesworth is Professor Emerita at RMIT University.  She is a  socio-legal scholar whose research focuses on gender (in)equality in employment at the labour market, industry and organisational levels. Much of her recent work has been on the nexus between decent work and care quality in long term care and the heath care sector.  She has been an expert witness on workforce issues before the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, the Aged Care Work Value Case before the Fair Work Commission, and in its current gender-based undervaluation - priority awards review.
 

HumanAbility collaborates with industry to conduct research, identify job market demands, assess skill requirements, create adaptive qualifications and training packages, and spearhead workforce development initiatives.
